Progressive Party of Vermont: Refounded 1982--Elected Officials include:
- 1 Congressman (listed as Independent)
- 7 State Reps
- Burlington Mayor
- 4 city council Members
- Throughout the state there are dozens of Progressives elected to local select boards and school commissions. These positions are all non-partisan.
- Chair, State House Agriculture committee
- Some Recent Wins:
- Recognition of Abenaki Tribe
- Minimum Wage Increase
- Raised Veterans Property Tax exemptions
- Food Education Every Day Bill–Helps students learn about the food chain from food service workers in schools.
ProDane (Wisconsin): (Re-Founded 1992)
- 8 City Council Members
- 3 School Board Members
- 6 county officials
Progressive Party of Washington (Refounded 2003)
- 1st and only challenger to powerful and long time Seattle mayor for most of 2005 campaign--1st candidate to Question wisdom of digging tunnel to replace Alaskan Way Viaduct. Issue now being voted on in special election.
- Only 3rd party candidate to overcome roadblocks to ballot access to appear on ballot for state legislature in 2006.
- Testified in Olympia against provisions of HB 1534--making ballot access harder for 3rd parties. Bill was tabled.
- Radio ads resulted in proposed legislation to make Republicans and Democrats pay for their own exclusive Primary.
